Selen Peacock’s first album is called "Elastic Memories", because the memory is amplifying and dancing. It is a beautiful unfaithful being of meticulous looks. It was recorded in February at the edge of a river, the Allier, because the rivers are favorable. It is about islands, the bottom of the sea, currents and love countercurrents, landings, a woman simply murdered, shelter and comfort, Hawaii, colorful forests and the lights of the city that make the day into night. Nine songs written between Paris, Lower Normandy and Chicago, on the edge of reality or on imaginary rivers, it's all the same.
Selen Peacock is like Johan Saint, Morgan Carnet, François Leroux, Blanche Lafuente and Benoît Perez. They were seen and heard using guitars, keyboards, saxophones, percussion, voice, trumpet, bass, in the spirit of Novalis: "Anything can become a magical instrument." Thus they spell, but magically, seamless music from any style, between naïve songs and outer-seasdevelopments. They were also seen playing with Samba de la Muerte Extended, Talune, Qonicho Ah!, Infernale Momus and Mamiedaragon.
